i've got a new piece out on the colorful literary site, fresh yarn. if you don't know about it, go there now and read through the dozens of wonderful personal essays from a whole pantload of talented hollywood scribes, such as beth lapides, jill soloway, rick cleveland and hillary carlip (the mind and fingers behind fresh yarn).

i've been in pittsburgh working on a new sitcom. (betchya never heard that in casual conversation before.) as it turns out, lots of well-known hollywood writers and producers are either from pittsburgh, or live there now. there's a whole movement going on to make it the new toronto. pretty exciting stuff. for more on that, go to steeltown's official website here.

anyway, more details as my show (which is not connected to steeltown yet) moves forward. in the meantime, got a new camera and am finally updating the gallery page. here are a bunch of photos i took as we approached laguardia yesterday.

my subway piece is making the rounds again. this time on the very appropriate subway chronicles site, in a section, even more appropriately named, "stand clear of the closing doors."
