Very fun
Hi David,
I've never done this before, email an author after I read their book. I always say I'm going to do it but never actually do, and now here I am finally emailing an author.
First of all, I wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed your book. I can't remember how I learned about it but last week I realized I had nothing good to take on my trip (I live in Seattle and am visiting family in Chicago & Detroit this week) so I went to book list that I keep on our local library's web site to reserve a book and there was your book. I probably could've read it in one day if I had had the time, it was a very fun, quick & easy read which was exactly what I was in the mood for. I know what you mean that there are a lot of chick-lit books out there, and although some of them are good & fun it was refreshing to read something from a man's point of view.
Any plans on coming up to Seattle for a book tour? Please let me know as I would love to meet you and hear you speak.
Ok, just one question, how much of this book is based on your life?
